History

Ron opened the Midnight Iguana Body Art shop in Atlanta, GA in 1989. 

In the early 90’s he began doing paramedical body art, covering up blemishes, scars and birth-marks, becoming an early pioneer in micro-needling along the way.  This led to specialisations in scar correction, scar camouflage and other micro-pigmentation techniques.

He went on to launch Micro-pigment Implantation Technologies in Athens, GA.

In 2002 Ron pioneered the “dermal lift” process of body art removal.   

Ron was doing a lot of tattoo coverups and noticed that new tattoos often had a tendency to lift out if a good after-care regime wasn’t followed.  He and his team reasoned that a positive system could be developed for body art removal by mimicing failures in after-care. 

Much R&D followed.   

The result was the formulation and patent of 123TattooFree® which combines a mild exfoliating formula with a unique pinpoint abrasion process.  This combination stimulates the papillary dermal skin layers and triggers the body’s healing processes to expel pigment naturally.   

Ink pigments literally lift out the dermis.

Further R&D led to a streamlined process that works in 97% of cases and completes in a maximum of 3 treatments.  

SUperior tO laser systems

Laser-related treatments often require many sessions to lighten tattoos.   Lasers explode the skin cells and release ink pigments into the body for the lymphatic system to handle.   

In contrast, the “dermal lift” method using 123TattooFree® draws pigments out the skin surface and is healthier, faster and less painful.   It is the most effective method available today.
